Project DOE

Project DOE-Under Construction

Hoo-rah! I've got a new modem for the computer today. The old one was really f**ked up. Kept loosing connection. So now that i've got a new one, it won't create problems for me. Not for a long, long time.

To those who haven't noticed, today's Friday the 13th. Not that I actually believe in these superstitious stuff but.. whatever. No bad luck happened to me today. In fact, it's been a good day. Today, I did housework, without a grudge. And nobody asked me to do them so it's like a plus point. It was good exercise anyway. Then I started on my project DOE. Hahah. It's turning out quite nicely. Cool.

Anyway, let's rewind a few days back in my life. On Saturday the 7th, I had an interview with the National Health Group. It was about this Bursary stuff I applied for. Doubt I'll get it. I kinda panicked a little and forgot things i wanted to say. So to make up for it, I kinda acted all sweet and smiled a lot and being too damned polite, hoping the person will take me. What-ever! Made a new friend while waiting for my turn. I make friends quickly, I realized. She's from Ngee Ann too. After a while, saw another friend I made in school. But because of this interview, I couldn't go for the Trojan 4 outing. Bleargh!

Then, I started to lose my voice. I became really ill the next day, which was Mothers' Day. Yay! I went for my Sunday class, where I began to sniffle a lot. After the class ended, I went to a cake shop and bought a Mothers' Day cake for my mum. It was Y-U-M! Hugged and kissed my mom and my sis sang Happy Mothers' Day to the tune of the Happy Birthday song. Cool.

Next day, Monday, woke up with the worse sore throat ever. Oh and since Sunday till sometime on Tuesday, I used a lot of tissue paper. Hate being ill.

Wednesday, felt a little better. Throat kinda 'itches'. And I started finding materials for my project.

Thursday, went for Convention Day at Ngee Ann. Super cool! Saw GLs from FOC camp. Saw lots of friends. Watched lots of performances by different CCAs. Best one was this dance performance by NRA. They were awesome! Starting to feel really glad and pleased in having Ngee Ann poly as my school. Proud of it! So anyway, gonna have to choose a CCA. Thinking of joining ice skating. *eyes twinkling* After that, Shuning, Noel and I decided to window shop/shop at Bugis for a while before heading home. I bought materials for my project. Very cool. Went to Watsons to help Shuning out in choosing basic make up. Fun. It was a good day. I was dressed totally gor-geous! Hahah self praise.

So back to today. Said most about today at the beginning of this entry. Oh and my sis is behaving quite good today. It's weird, today. I mean, I was SO hardworking, doing all the housework, my sis is studying and not making mess of the house. Well, I wouldn't let her. Not after.. everything. And all of us didn't make our parents angry or make them nag at us. Neat! And now mom's giving us a treat by cooking up stuff for us. Weird day, today.

Gonna have to pack my stuff for another camp soon. I hope I enjoy this camp as well.

Ta-rah!
