Students' Union Freshmen Orientation Camp

YAYYY!!!


Right now, my voice, doesn't sound like my voice. I've lost my voice due to the yelling and screaming and shouting and cheering, supporting my one and only group, TROJAN!!! Yeah! We so rock!


Yup, I just got back from my Freshman Orientation Camp. The best camp I've attended so far. Really, I absolutely love the camp, the group leaders, the activities, the people i made friends with, the cheers, the dance!!


There're so much to talk about.


1st Day
-'Happy Hour'. It's a night walk. First, we were led into an LT where we watched the movie, 'Shutter', which I didn't get to see till finish. Then before we were paired off, one by one, to go for our walk around the school in the dark, the leaders warned us about stuff like, don't walk in odd numbers, don't walk on drains, if you hear your name being called out or feel a tap, don't turn around. I don't know if they were just trying to scare us but they seemed pretty serious. I mean, when i was paired off with this guy in my group, our leader kept telling him to 'take care' of me. Like i'm so fragile or something. Hahah! But, yea, my partner did a great job protecting me, held my hands and go in front of me first so i won't get the fright first. Well, all in all, the walk was great. I screamed most of the time. Hahah! Silly me.


2nd Day
-'Waterfall'. The slope of a hill in this field (ME Field) is covered with canvas. The station masters wet it and we had to climb to the top of the hill and get wet when the leaders pour water on you (soaked through). Then you slide down! Very fast and thrilling!
-'Station Games'. Absolute fun! Lots and lots of really great games.


3rd Day
-'Night Club'. The huge sports hall, where we sleep, were made into a night club! The lights were out. There were a few small disco balls and lots of light sticks. And LOUD, FAST dancing music. Super nice! Dance the night through which was awesome. Omg, they're playing one of the songs on the radio right now! Hahah. After the dancing were done, there was no 'Lights Out' since it's the last night. I would have gone to sleep, only that it has been a tradition that the GLs will sabotage the freshies. Meaning that when the freshies sleep, the GLs will draw on them (the freshies) with markers and cover them with toothpaste and whatever stuff they can get their hands on. Such as McDonald's chilli and curry sauce. Hahah! I didn't sleep but I did got drawn on. On my arm by a GL of another group, Argives. Hahah! It's pretty cool.


4th Day
-Cheered a lot. Hugged lots of people. Sad ah. Took pictures of Cute Bryan, one of Trojan's GLs! I hugged him too. He's very nice. Anyway, it was sad leaving. Then all the way home, I've been hearing cheers. I was like, ok i'm going insane. I've cheers in my head. I hear people calling out TROJANS, TROJANS, TROJANS!! Hahaha Super weird and scary.


And for all days, it was excellent doing the cheers and yelling and screaming and laughing at the tops of my lungs. Super man! And the friends i made.. amazing! A lot of great stuff happened. Too lazy to think of them and typing this already super long entry. And my eyes are drawing close. I need sleep!!! I almost missed my stop in the train today when i fell asleep. But Heikal woke me up. Felt so blur after that. Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!
