Back from Desaru.
Just got back from Desaru. Welcome me home. Went with my family and my friends Nisa, Tini and Lia. Went home with my friends only. My family stayed another night. I didn't see the point of staying another night cuz I don't think I'd have anything to do. So now I'm home alone until tomorrow.
The holiday was alright. The sea was b-e-a-utiful! The waves are a thousand times bigger than those in Singapore. I love the sea. But, during my stay there, we saw someone drown. People were crowding in groups. A girl was crying. I kinda saw a black something in the middle of the sea, appearing and then disappearing under the waves. Me, Nisa, Tini and Lia were shocked and confused why there weren't anyone out there trying to help. I saw 2 authorities just standing with the victim's relatives. What was that all about?!
The rooms were alright. Not that big. Four of us had to cramp into a queen/king size bed. It was super squeezy. Nisa and Tini slept at the two ends while me and Lia were between them. The first night, the room was so cold and my nose started running so I got up and went to the bathroom to get tissue paper. When I came back to the bed, I couldn't get in back! So at first I thought of sleeping on a chair and covered myself with clothes. But it was not very comfortable. So I slept on the floor. It was like sleeping on a slat of ice! I took some material and spread it on the floor at the end of the bed where the end of blanket was coming down. And then I covered myself with it and cloth and towel. I almost cried! I didn't have the heart to wake the others. But the second night was alright. I slept with a roll of toilet paper so that I won't have to get out of bed and not be able to get into it again. It was still squeezy.
We played pool and went to the nearest town to eat and shop. There was a pasar malam on the second night and it was fun. Oh my God. Even though Malaysia is just our neighbour, I already had a culture shock. A lot of people there ride motorcycle. In Singapore, on two people are allowed on a bike but over there, I saw three! I saw this man on the bike and one kid was in the basket in front of him and the other one sitting behind him. Hahah. They weren't wearing any helmet. Then at the pasar malam, I saw so many underaged kids riding a bike and driving cars! I was like woah! Do they even have license?
We even pee-ed in the male toilet. The female one was locked so someone told us we can use the male toilet. Hahah. I was hoping it was clean cuz, I mean, guys tend to stand when they pee.
Overall, it was alright. Not many activities but I got to go overseas with my friends so that's something. We did lots of laughing and photo-taking. Made friends too. Next time, I hope we go somewhere further. I have a longing to fly on an aeroplane. I miss it. I love planes a lot.
